What is Ashtanga Yoga?

Ashtanga Flow Yoga provides a structured and purposeful vinyasa-style class. This class will come with all the benefits of a regular yoga class, strength, flexibility, self focus, stress management and relaxation, however because of it’s structured nature, you can achieve great improvements in strength quite quickly (providing you practice too!).

If you’re looking for a chill out and stretch, don’t bother with this class.. Our Ashtanga Flow session is designed to immerse you into technical physical practice of the asana series, to master every pose and to get you super, super fit, strong and flexible.

Yoga in the Jewellery Quarter

Like all classes at the Kaizen Centre Birmingham, tuition is key to perfect practice. Our teachers get involved and ensure that you are ‘getting’ each and every nuance of the poses and that your form and ability are improving with every session.

Ashtanga Yoga can be as challenging as you want it to be and the better you become, the more you will be encouraged to discover more about the depths of your own ability.
